By increasing the sound of morality and moral principles in today's highly competitive world, organizations have found more emphasis on competitive status rather than the identification and flourishing of the transcendental and lifelong aspects of organizations and the positive qualities and capabilities of individuals and the importance of positive environments. Through emphasis on the strengths and positive aspects of human behavior, they have been trying to exploit their psychological capacities. Therefore, in the present study, the relationship between psychological capital and the improvement of human resource performance by analyzing the mediating role of social procrastination reduction has been investigated. The statistical population of the study consisted of employees of education departments in District 1 and 2 of Guilan province. By using Cochran formula, 148 individuals were selected by simple random sampling. In terms of its objectives, this study is of an applied research type and in terms data collection procedure it is a descriptive-survey study. The reliability of the data collection tool was confirmed by the view of the management professors and the confirmatory factor analysis technique. In this study, the fittest indices of the model and the significance test of the research hypotheses were studied based on the results of the structural equation modeling technique using PLS software. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between all dimensions of psychological capital and human resource performance. The significant relationship between psychological capital and social procrastination reduction is confirmed, and there is also a significant relationship between social procrastination reduction and improving human resource performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that the improvement of psychological capital by reducing the level of social procrastination in these organizations leads to the improvement of their human resources performance.
