This study aimed to classify non-financial rewards by using Kano model. The population of the study included all staff members of Yazd city's police. Using Morgan table 322 individuals have been chosen by stratified simple random sampling method and finally 301 individuals participated in the study. According to previous studies and 7 academic and law enforcement experts' viewpoints, the non-financial rewards were classified in 14 dimensions and were taken as a basis for developing the questionnaire. In order to calculate the reliability of the questionnaire, in addition to Cronbach's alpha (.821) the kappa index was also employed that is placed in valid agreement at the level of .620. The validity of the questionnaire was also confirmed through the content validity and the two aspects of the use of previous models and the formation of focus groups. According to the the results, of the 14 identified dimensions five dimensions are obligatory, four dimensions are performance, and four dimensions are considered as the fascinating needs. In addition, it was determined that the dimension of participation in decision-making and performing the challenging affairs had low motivating power from the city of Yazd's law enforcement employees' perspectives. Accordingly, managers should consider the enhancement of obligatory needs as a priority in their action plan. And they should also consider the dimensions, which were classified in performance and fascinating needs, as a set of cost-effective measures that have high motivating power.
