the present study aimed at investigating the knowledge management infrastructures in knowledge production structures of I.R.I. Police in 2016 so that in addition to the identification of the most important infrastructures and effective factors in operationalizing knowledge management, the required steps could be taken for the creation or improvement of these factors.
In terms of its objectives, this study is of an applied research type and in terms of the data collection procedure it is of a descriptive-survey type. The statistical population included the managers, employees, and faculty members of Police and Social Studies Research Center. The sample size was estimated as 170 individuals using Morgan Table and the participants were selected through simple random sampling method. The research tool is a researcher-made questionnaire. The content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by some experts and previous studies. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated by Cronbach's alpha (α=.85). After ensuring the normality of the data (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test), one-sample t-test for knowledge management infrastructure factors was run.
The mean of knowledge management infrastructure factors, which are employees empowerment (4.1), organizational culture (3.98), senior managers commitment (3.7), employees participation (3.44), teamwork (3.2), organizational structure (3.17), and technology (3.01) were determined and identified at moderate to high level.
