The importance of organizational culture and its impact on organizational life and performance is obvious. Several studies conducted in this area indicate that. This research is intended to identify and assess the cultural situation of a military organization. After studying different models of organizational culture, Denison's model was selected as the basic theoretical model of the research because of its novelty, applicability in all levels of the organization and possibility for assessing behavioral factors. Then the model was being localized through involving religious and national cultural values, military cultural values and organization’s cultural values. According to this model, four types of cultures, including mission culture, transformational culture, bureaucratic culture and humanist culture and their related components were identified. This research is an applied research according to its goal and is a descriptive- survey research according to its nature. The research population included all of the employees in a military organization and 125 of whom were selected as the sample through stratified simple sampling. A questionnaire was used to collect the data. The results indicated that mission culture with the mean of 3.221, transformational culture with the mean of 3.178, bureaucratic culture with the mean of 2.907 and humanist culture with the mean of 2.921 were dominant in the organization in an acceptable range.
