Job involvement of employees in work is a new concept in recent years that enters to the organizational domain. Employees engaged in work, are workers vibrant, energetic and more efficient. These employees are willing to more effort in achieving the goals of the organization. Studies show that employee involvement in work is influenced by several factors. Due to importance of Air Traffic Control in positive Air Traffic Management and enhancement of flight safety coefficient, it is intended to be studied on factors effecting on more involvement of Air Traffic Controllers. In this study, the perceived organizational culture variable plus psychological safety conditions and psychological meaningfulness moderator variables were used to examine the variable of job involvement. The field explanatory and simple randomly methods is used for gathering primary data within Iranians airports. “Job Involvement” was assessed with a 10-item scale devised by Kanungo(1982). To measure “psychological meaningfulness”, 6 items drawn from May et al. (2004) were used. “Psychological safety” was measured with 3 items based on Kahn’s (1990) and May et al.’s (2004) studies. For gathering data about “organizational culture”, a Harrison (1993) Questionnaire with 15 items was used. Responses to each item were measured on a 5-point Likert scale ranging from (1) disagrees to (5) agree. Data obtained from the questionnaires was analyzed by using SPSS V: 19 and Structural equation’s Modeling (Smart PLS software). Results show that perceived organizational culture has direct and indirect effects, through a significant moderator of these psychological conditions and psychological safety on job involvement.
