due to the potential inherent in organizational citizenship behavior and its role in maximizing the performance of organizations, it would be expected that OCB plays a crucial role in the recruitment and development activities and the level of social capital. Accordingly in this study tried to examine the relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior with social capital from the perspective of teachers in the city of Shiraz. The method of study is Cross-correlation method based on the structural equation model. The study sample included all high school teachers in four areas of the city. Participants were 225 teachers in the city of Shiraz who were selected by cluster sampling. Data used in this study was a questionnaire of organizational citizenship behavior and social capital, which after evaluation of its validity and reliability it was distributed and collected between and from sample members. Data were analyzed with path analysis model. The results showed that from the teachers' views 1) the adequacy of organizational citizenship behavior is acceptable 2) Social capital is significantly higher than the acceptable level of competence. There is a significant positive relationship between dimensions of organizational citizenship behavior and social capital. OCB has a significant directly impact on social capital.
