ims: Nowadays, organisations in order to performing their human resource developement programs provide numerous training programs and lots of their resources are spent in this manner. But in most of cases they don't do any significant action to evaluate the effectiveness of these programs. This research is aimed at study the effects of Training programs on Positive change of leadership skill of a defensive research centre staff.
Material and Methods: For this purpose 130 of technical officers and managers at this center was selected by random sampling method divided in two groups(test and control group), were studied using quasi-experimental with standard post-test based on Whetten and Cameron model and measure. Collected data was analyzed by descriptive methods and 2-group t test.
Results: The results showed that training programs didn't show any significant effect on Positive change of leadership skill of the staff and only the item of trust elimination was significantly affected by training program.
Conclusion: Special situations of organizational context and culture,quasi-military space and safety considerations, lack of scientific assesment of training needs and lack of using modern technologies and models of employee training and lackPerformance Evaluation of training programs is considered to serve the most important causes of low effects of training programs on developing skill.
