The aim of this research is to study the influence of instructions of controlling
societies on restraining urban riot. The method is a combination of two methods
of Cluster and classifying sampling. The first unit force of controlling societies is

are chosen and according to Cochran formula, two groups of 320 people are
selected from each battalion among commanders and police personnel of Naja's
first unit, who had instructed the different dimensions of controlling unrest. Two
questionnaires were used in order to gather data. The first questionnaire
consisted of 20 items in which sorts of controlling society's instructions were
ranked and the second questionnaire included 12 items which measured the rate
of controlling unrest, participating, and the necessity of applying several
methods to restrain the riots. Its stability equals %72 which is measured by using
a measurement scale.
The data is acquired by correlation statistical samples of Spearman and one-way
analysis of variance (ANOVA).
