From the contingency perspective, the proportion between employees' needs and
job is followed by employees' motivation and job. Therefore, this research
studies the relationship between employees' needs and their jobs.
The method of this study is survey which is descriptive. Questionnaire is used so
as to gather data relevant with the variable of the research. This questionnaire
was distributed among the police employees. The stability and reliability of the
questionnaire are proved by Cronbach's alpha coefficient.
The results indicate that there is proportion between 47 percent of the employees'
needs and jobs. Likewise %30 of employees with high expectations and needs
had advantageous jobs and %17 of them with low expectations and needs had
Based on the findings, it is suggested to focus on promoting employees'
motivation and to balance employees' needs and their jobs.
